Review by tapeworm
This is a remake of the old platform game Manic Miner. While the basic gameplay is quite similar to the original, this version is not nearly as difficult as the original game--even without the load and save feature. This may be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your point of view--I have nice memories of extreme frustration with the old Commodore 64 version.

While the music is pretty similar to the original game, you can tell from the nicely-designed title screen (though I missed the piano playing) that the graphics have had an overhaul. While still simple, they are colorful and detailed.

If you liked the original Manic Miner (or Jet Set Willy), or if you're just wondering what old platform games were like, try this one.

Also, if you like this game, you might also like Midnite Motel. Although it is not based on Manic Miner or Jet Set Willy, it sure reminds me of them.

Fun game! I pretty much like any games that take place in mines, I don't know why. But its fun! Good job!
