Game Maker Games - Crossfire
Crossfire by Jabberwock
A short (and not entirely complete) scrolling shooter for one or two players that I made in summer of 2006. It doesn't really have a proper ending, and there are some things about it that I don't like, but it's still rather fun, especially with two players. Controls are explained in the readme. It is also Windows Vista compatible. Note: while not exactly a completed game, it isn't really a demo either, and I'm not going to do any more work on it. In any case, it's comprehensive enough to play.

I spent about fifteen minutes on the sound effects. In retrospect, I don't know why I bothered with them at all.

I don't know why 64digits is acting up, but I've uploaded it somewhere else for now.

I like it this game, but I miss the music and the sounds are not the best

What??!?! I thought this was supposed to be a comedy! I fail to see the humor (whack) uh...oww...I forgot where I be? OHhhhh, right!
I accomplished downloading the game, and played it. It's a rather fun arcade style game, of which
I liked the background graphics and fun, simple game play.
Though I found the sound effects a bit irritating and turned my speakers off after a minute, but other that that, good job. I give it a 7.

SSBM Fan, Your comment made very little sense.
He didn't rate his game; serprex rated his game. Your criticism is premature and unneeded(unneeded because it isn't constructive criticism), because you said so your self, that you didn't even play the game. And, either you referred to yourself as 'we', or you're saying that nobody likes this style of game. Which I don't see how you could know what style of game it is, because you didn't play it. Nor do I see how you could know everybody's opinion on this style of game.
D'oh. When I tried to download the game, it came up with a '404 not found' error.

Readme has a typo(if you starting doing)
The game itself seems to clash with the background and the foreground(Intentional?)
Firing noise got annoying, especially since firing was constant by holding space(Pressing space would just be redundant, hate key mashers)
